Music Review Vampire Weekend's eponymous album "Vampire Weekend" is a piece indie American quartet in New York was formed in 2006. There are four members of Vampire Weekend, which includes Ezra Koenig (lead vocals and guitar), Rostam Batmanglij (guitar, keyboard and Backing Vocal), Chris Tomson (drums and vocal choir) and Chris Baio (bass and vocal backing) . kind of music from Vampire Weekend are mostly indie pop and a little influence of African music, which is called Afro-pop. It is very clear in their music they do not belong to a genre rock. Many people have asked how they decided on their band is called Vampire Weekend, is a question. According to LimeWire Music Blog, Vampire Weekend has been derived from an amateur film Ezra, who was also the same name. You guessed it.
Vampire Weekend is something you do not hear every day. If you are looking for something new, something nice to the ear, something cute, then you're in the right place. You'll love Vampire Weekend.
Vampire Weekend is really cute in "Mansard Roof." Some non-stop drumming, percussion clever, catchy guitar hooks and cute. There were some moments that their styles of guitar playing reminds me of The Strokes. Mansard Roof is a very short song, but it will certainly bite you in the right direction. After listening for the first time, I always I always hit "Back" button. Why? Mansard Roof is suitable for anyone at any time.
"Oxford Comma" and a constant drum beat to it catchy. This is a song that will surely but slowly become you. And what I discovered is that this song is actually a very good song to sing. Imagine that you are having a karaoke session with your friend Oxford Comma is certainly a darling for anyone to sing. This is not a highway where everyone could not catch their breath when they sing, and not the tracks that require voice pitch. During the break of this song, the guitar solo was cute still great. I found myself smiling every time this part arises. "Lil 'Jon, he always tells the truth .." I do Vampire Weekend by commas.
"A-Punk" is a fast track. The guitar on this track is fast and really break. I can not imagine playing the guitar on A-Punk. It's as if you could not stop even for one second! It was an instrument resembling a flute, or even organs, or DJ equipment at each Ezra, "Look outside at the raincoats coming, for example ... oh" in a manner repetition. And it is really good. From the song, I guess Vampire Weekend singing of a young girl whose lover has gone. A cute and fast track that can not be missed.
"Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" is somewhat similar to Oxford Comma. He started slow and gentle, later, when he took the tempo. It is not hard, just that it sounds much fuller in his music. If you listen carefully, you want to realize the many instruments played in this song. But Vampire Weekend comes to its so simple and so good to listen too. Not being very familiar with the sound of Africa and do not really know how it looks. Somehow, I can feel that this song has African influence mixed with modern Western music, making it a memorable titles on Vampire Weekend. Oh you know the part I like? That's when Ezra sang in the chorus, "But this feels so unnatural Peter Gabriel too .." I love him even more when Ezra made twice. And there are oh, cello Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa would better even when compared to low. Again, everybody would certainly love this track, young or old, girls / boys. my view.
