The Vampire Lestat Summary

Can you give me a brief summary of his character? Including your own opinion of him is a plus. Thank you.

Lestat changes between these two books. In an interview, he is a real monster. In Lestat, we see a personality a little better. I do not know why Ms. Rice has changed his mind, but it is really more of a hero than the status of books.

In IWTV, it makes you think Lestat is a villain because you see the story from the point of view of Lewis, Louis and Lestat completely misunderstood. In The Vampire Lestat, he tells his own story, if we see things through his eyes and see that it is not bad at all, he is just misunderstood Flag

The second book is where Lestat tells his own story, and it highlights all these clues that Louis has not picked up in IWTV. We see how Louis would receive about Lestat and he has completely misunderstood. So, Lestat was the same character, and this explains why he is the way it is. Report Abuse

Louis saw that the facade that masked as Lestat. Therefore, the first book Lestat describes as a bad guy, because that is the facade that Louis has seen and could not understand. In the second book, the cover is lifted and we see the real Lestat, because he has a chance to explain. Flag
