I do not get it, they say that Buffy's friends are the Scooby gang or something like that, and I do not understand. Barbara Hannah did write Scooby-Doo and the people who wrote Buffy the Vampire cons write Scooby do, and are also the "Scooby gang" in Buffy the Vampire many cons, I've never seen, and they have the same names then I would love ur help! thank you

it is a bit of a nickname. They solve supernatural crimes, such as the Scooby Gang, and Spike would sometimes tease Zander and Willow calling them the "Scoobies"

They are called the "Scooby gang" as a joke, because what they are doing is similar to what kids on Scooby-Doo is: to solve mysteries with a supernatural element or hidden to them. (Only on Buffy, they were actually supernatural.)
