Salt And High Blood Pressure

Salt And High Blood PressureWhat foods or ingredients (except salt) aggetate hypertension?

I am 34 weeks pregnant and I was put on bedrest for high blood pressure. I know that salt consumption is one of the ingredients to watch, but are there other ingredients or foods that aggetate my blood pressure and make it go higher?

My husband was recently diagnosed with HBP. Salt (course) caffiene, nicotine, alcohol (all that you do not use anyway:)) processed meats (hot dogs, bacon, lunchmeat), diet soft drinks, cheese, sour cream, chocolate, softened water itself. Watch your consumption of excess sugar and refined carbohydrates. Good luck.

Caffeine so. It is difficult to be cautious, but really watch the salt. Try eating foods rich in potassium, calcium and magnesium because they help reduce blood pressure. Just four more weeks. Does bed rest. I'm not the first time I had pre-eclampsia and I had my baby at 36 weeks. I did the second time and we did at 38 weeks. Good luck

Caffeine.
Depending on the type of hypertension, it is, who can not help. I never had until the end of my third trimester, and my diet has nothing to do with it. It was just how my body reacted to being pregnant. Just stay in bed. I know it's hard, but believe me, it is much better than pre-eclempsia. They have led me to 35-36 weeks and had me on magnesium sulfate (not to have seizures due to pressure). I am not trying to scare you, just saying take it seriously. I probably should have stayed in bed.

Pork of any kind, all kinds of chips, crackers, soda, diet or regular, because it is rich in sodium, sausage and sharp cheese, canned soup or vegetables, a lot of sodium in them as well .
