The Lightning Thief? Vampires real curves? All right. So, I wonder if these two books are good. I know that the Lightning Thief is pre-teen, so I was wondering if it will be too immature for me to enjoy. I am 23 years old, but I recently read the Harry Potter series and loved it. I do not know if the Lightning Thief is too young for me. Someone knows?
Real vampires have curves? I have read many books vampire series, but it caught my attention because it sounded different. Has anyone read it? Can you give me your opinion on this?
I have not read the first. I read the second. It was okay. I mean, after reading other similar works (Maryjanice Davidson began this trend crossover paranormal romance / chicklit) is just a little "more of the same" face. It is lightweight so do not expect to be serious (although I think you already know that). Another author to try along these lines is Michelle Bardsley.
These comments are from Amazon, but they should suffice.
The Lightning Thief
Percy Jackson has always been different from other children. He is dyslexic and suffers from ADHD, and is still in deep trouble. He was deported several times, and the only thing that keeps his interest is Greek mythology. We quickly learned that Percy has close ties with Mount Olympus, and when the monsters of mythology arose early in search of his blood, he ends up in a very special school for children like him, he begins to put things together to find out who he really is. Before he knows it is out on a quest with his two friends, Grover and Annabeth, to recover a powerful lightning, property of Zeus, which has been stolen, supposedly by Percy himself. Zeus, Poseidon and Hades have a little disagreement about the theft of the flash, unless Percy can retrieve it and return it in time, with the fallout will have earth-shattering consequences. This great (albeit relatively unknown) first book in the series is an easy read and is sure to encourage young readers to improve their knowledge of Greek mythology, especially stories of the Minotaur, Medusa and the gods Poseidon, Ares, Zeus, Hades, Kronos, Athena and so on. Highly recommended for young readers looking for a series of original and imaginative adventure.
Vampires real curves
Glory is a nice vampire, you were chosen, even for a friend! I can relate to it. She died one day bloating, which seems a bit of turf right for me, and when you become a vampire you're stuck like the way you are dead - well that, at least she does not age!
It has a nice sort of vampire boyfriend, Blade, which seemed exasperated, but also around the same time! He is a vampire slayer to drift ... and vampires are turning up on the dotted line Glory. It is quite funny as they did to get as proof vests to increase participation in the clothes, though the glory is not keen on this look! Glory and Blade need to know who the killer is, before they are dust! This is the first of the series, and I'll buy the rest of them. It is funny, fun, and I highly recommend it.
