Hi,

I know lots about Kamakan. I'm the author!

Kamakan The Vampire SLug is a children's adventure rhyme. It tells the tale of the hideous monster Kamakan as he kidnaps two children, Jonni and Nellie, and charts their dramatic adventures as they try to escape from his monster-ridden lair.

I originally wrote, what is now the prologue, in the late 80's, and then gave up my job in marketing for 2 years in 2002 to finish the rhyme. It was a very hard writing experience as its a rhyming adventure, and I thought I'd go mad at certain points trying to finish it.

I eventually did finish it and won an undiscovered authors competition. I received a publishing deal and have been promoting it ever since. My good friend Shaun B King illustrated the book.

I then went on to produce Kamakan as a live stage show and am trying to find funds to tour it at present.

Kamakan is now available for down on Kindle and smartphones and I'm in the process of writing the film script. Fingers crossed Kamakan will eventually become very successful.
