What do you think of this idea? Its still going, of course, but if it were a book, you pick it up and read it?
Blurb:
Lost in the serenity secret half New Zealand Moon Bay, Amee is completely out of touch. Intent on writing his new book, she thinks nothing of him when a mysterious letter arrives for her, written in a language not identifiable.
Then the dreams started. strange dreams, staggered in the most exotic places imaginable. Venice, Paris, Stonehenge. But what are these dreams? And why they feel more like memories?
Amee As soon learns there is an ongoing war. A war in which it is stuck in the middle. A war between good an evil. But with all the lies and deception surrounding it, Amee can choose which side is right? And better yet, Amee can survive the bloody battle between the two?
I can see how we can build on that, but for now it just seems like you are making a big deal of nothing, then adding to the classic war between the worlds thing. You must make the most remarkable signs, but still mysterious. I mean people would not really think much about the beautiful places, especially if they are writing a book and especially if they also receive a letter weird. Also, people generally did not think about how dreams are felt. They simply feel that they are dreams. Try to make your main conflict more unique. People who absolutely love to read hate books that come from the typical story. The book itself can be very good, but it did not matter because he has already been done too many times.
Sorry for not being more friendly and compliments, but I hope it will help more.
