Giving Blood Restrictions

There are many restrictions to donate blood. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood center has a complete list.

They check to all kinds of questions of blood and your weight should be above 110 pounds or more and your size. They also ensure that you are healthy and no diseases of any kind, and no drugs in your system or drugs in your system.

If you have lived in the United Kingdom during the mad cow disease period you are not allowed to donate blood in the United States.

Weight - 110 pounds or more
Health - No known cases of illness or some type of medical condition

you must weigh over 110 lbs. and you can not have tattoos or piercings in the last 6 months. or a year, and you absolutely can not be pregnant.

They check ur hemoglobin.if it is OK, then they will take blood
hemoglobin is 12.5
or they also look for diseases in the blood or heart amount of iron ...

They do some tests on blood (such as iron levels and control of diseases, drugs, etc.) and you have the weight of at least 110 pounds.

I know one is a main restriction .. Being outside the country largely restricted international travel for the gift of blood
