board game without dice battles? I'm looking for a board game fun to play. I'm Fury of Dracula, Arkham Horror, Talisman and Runebound. I love them all, but finding the dice battles take a long time and frankly, they are boring.
Are there any good games like the ones I listed, but no dice battles?
There are other games such as auditors, the draft, the crown and anchor, Scrabble and dominoes.
MSN has a very long list of games, some of which are also sold on the market for games. While browsing, you could be ables to come across one that you like.
There's nothing like the games you mentioned, but you might want to try Carcassonne http://www.boardgamebeast.com/carcassonn ... This works well with two players and a maximum of four (five with the expansion set) and is a tile laying Thurs There is some strategy involved, but it is a very relaxed, open nature of the game. More importantly, no dice and that is different every time because the council "evolves as you install your flooring to touch the other. A game quite pretty, we took some photos when the card was been very good!
Well, first, if you have not visited Boardgamegeek.com, you definitely want to check it - a lot of information about board games of all kinds. You can enter your notes for the games and make recommendations on that basis.
Some info that might be useful:
Do you dislike the dice are thrown at all, or just a lot of long-term stock die? For me, for example, fighting in Runebound is much slower and more boring (lots of material to die with a lot of numbers to be added) then fought Talisman (a dice each with a number to add).
You like action / adventure themed games? Everything you listed has an action adventure theme / - There are many other kinds of games too!
Someone listed Starcraft. It has no dice. He has stretched clumsy card battles which make me long dice:)
An incredible number of action / adventure game will use cubes. Last Night on Earth, for example, is a very fun horror action game in which dice rolls are fast enough - but there are a ton of them, so that does not meet your criteria. About the only thing I can think of is:
Dungeon Twister is a strategy game set as the dungeon adventure. It is a game with very little luck and a lot of planning and tactics. However, it does not really much of an "adventure" game feel in my opinion. Check it out ... http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1
If you want to go a little ways away on the theme, you can try:
Goldland: race of explorers to reach an ancient temple and find treasures on the road. You need to manage resources carefully - you'll need a variety of tools and supplies, but the more you carry, the slower you travel.

Drakon: A group of adventurers trying to collect enough gold in order to escape the dragon's lair. No Dice - you build the dungeon you go by placing the tiles to prevent your opponents and help you. Fast and fun.

If you just want a good game and do not really care about a theme of adventure, there are a ton of stuff!
Agricola is a challenging game of medieval agriculture. May seem attractive, but its very deep and full of choices and tension.
Mr. Jack is a game for two players move as less intelligent and a player tries to determine who is Jack the Ripper while the other tries to escape.
Tru Galaxy.
