Buffy Board Game

Buffy Board GameHow do I play the Buffy game?

So I stop cons Buffy the Vampire Slayer Thurs board, and it looks like so much fun. The only thing is that I am extremely confused by some complicated instructions, and I do not know what parts are sometimes. Can anyone tell me where to find better direction, maybe online, or how they play the game? Thank you!

Firstly, I assume you have the American board game, not the United Kingdom Buffy game (which is very different).

You must have a board of directors so that a simple "map" of Sunnydale, and a bunch of card games for such things as "weapons" and "spells", right?

Ok, good. To lower the slayage ...

Installation is fairly simple, just divide the characters as the instructions say, and place the cards in their appropriate places.

Remember that Buffy and the Scoobies are all on one team, the player plays against evil.

While it appears that there are many rules, all very simple. Each camp has a purpose. It varies depending on the "Big Bad" to get you, but most often its very simple: the Gentiles want to kill the villain, the bad guys want to kill all the good (or sometimes just as Buffy ... it never stopped) .

On your turn, you move your character around, collecting things and to help the fight against the enemy.

Each character starts well turn by the movement to roll, rather simple, the figures show how you can move.

If you get a "symbol of the moon", move the time of day mark - Buffy the small symbol - around the track, when he landed on the sun, apart from vampires injury. (See page 10 of Regulation ) When it reaches the full moon, Oz goes all Wolfy (flip on his character card).

If you find a color space, you may draw a card for that color red - are weapons, yellow is the research (spells), gray cards are using. Keep those cards on your sheet of little until you use them (most cards are discarded after use - the text tells you what to do!).

Bad Guys move a little differently. You did not always move all your creatures evil, instead, at the start of turn, roll the Evil Black die. If a watch big flame, you can move the main villain. Each little flame lets you move an employee.

Every villain gets a turn to move and roll can fight like heroes. Baddies can not pick up red / yellow / gray cards, but can draw "maps Evil" by standing on the black spaces. In addition, if the marker moon is in the "New Moon", you get to draw 2 cards and evil to stop on such a space.

You can also attack an enemy in your turn. The opponent's piece must be next to you. Just roll the dice a number of red showed character - each blow "" blow "or" blow "is a hit. For each shot you down the path of life of the target space. When it reaches 0, the target is pushed up bleachers (or in the wind, if a vampire).

Some cards will give you a blast of magic, again, very simple. Just roll a number of dice equal to your character's yellow "magic" score and count the number of small "star" of symbols that appear.

Thus, you use these basic rules to try to beat the other team! Its quite easy once you find the basics, and lots of fun (especially if everyone is in it, adding in dialogue style Buffyspeak for their character:))

Please let me know if you have specific questions.

Happy gaming!
