Blood Test For CancerCan a blood test detect cancer mean?

I didn't feel well and went for a blood test it would be any signs of cancer, apperantly there was nothing wrong with me.
They took four samples not sure what they do.

Yes They found my cancer - leukemia - through a blood test. A CBC (complete blood count Completel) Of course, after that there were many more tests and stuff. But the answer is yes. And I'm glad they did not find what you. I hope you start feeling better soon. Take good care.

A specific blood test for cancer

There is now a blood test that will detect early cancer of all types. It has an accuracy of over 95%. If the test is repeated, the precision is above 99%. That is to say, that false positive and false negative rates are less than 1%. The AMAS test is called.

Twenty-one years, a neurochemist Samuel Bogoch, MD, Ph.D., discovered a test for cancer antigen, like PSA today for prostate cancer and CEA for Colorectal cancer. With hard work and good solid research, he found the first anti-cancer antibodies in the blood of patients with cancer. He named the new malignin antigen, and called the new new anti-Malignin Antibodies. Hew founded a laboratory in Boston called Oncolab, Inc., the test was finally patented and FDA has granted permission to market the test.

There is no test for cancer markers just to check the levels of certain cancers, but they are not always accurate. I had a colonoscopy and they found cancer stage 1, they did a blood test to check my levels and he came back ..... normal and we knew there was cancer there since the biopsy were positive. So I would not trust a blood test completely. I had no symptoms or anything, they have found on a routine colonoscopy and I was only 46yr old.

a routine blood test is not sufficient to prevent cancer .... and there are no specific blood test to diagnose cancer, but there is what we call cancer markers ... There are different types of markers for various cancers .... otherwise it's just a hypothesis to a more diagnostic test .... So do not get paranoid if ur r its not abnormal markers to mark in the diagnosis of cancer ......

cheap
for the determination of cancer, we do biopsy as FNAC, etc.
blood tests are for the percentage of normal hemoglobin, blood sugar count, creatinine levels etc. RBC or WBC
this is not cancer diagnosig
