sugar in the blood? I wonder if anyone knows if 106 is a bad blood sugar to have when you wake up in the morning? I thought it would be 80 or something because I hadnt eaten all night, because the way it is sometimes 83 During the day I've ever eaten?? any help? Thank you
You should be worried about your levels of fasting insulin. Your fasting blood glucose does not tell you if the pancreas is to follow your insulin resistance is still increasing. The time to act before your BG starts to lift.
no its not. doctors said it should be between 80 and 95 first thing in the morning when you wake up. according to those I know have diabetes and lived with her for 30 years says her quite well. perhaps on the upper side of normal but not considered high. Sounds like you're about to have a high blood sugar possibly lead to diabetes, but for now you're OK. your blood sugar in the morning is more important than during the day. my father was over 30 years and my 30, I'm showing signs of higher blood sugar to about 100 in the morning, but it's nothing to worry about. reduce your sugar intake as much as possible and that alone will prevent you from getting sick for a long period.
Under today's standards, 106 is considered high (70-90 is normal), but to be honest 106 is very good. You have to look at your age, height, weight, any other disease that you may have. If you have any questions, consult your doctor and he can do some tests to check for sure.
I've been taking diabetes education and diabetes educator told me that my blood sugar should be 80-120 before meals as a diabetic and not more than 180 two hours after meals. Thus, if 106 fine.,
106 is not too bad but it is better to go to the doctor.
