Blood Stem Cells

Blood Stem CellsWhat is the difference between stem cells and embryonic stem cells Blood agreements made at birth?

I know that the blood cells of infants are in agreement and we know that embryonic stem cells are a hot political issue.

Cord blood is blood that has been in the umbilical cord at birth. Embryonic stem cells are cells that are taken from fertilized eggs that have not been used for implants in vitro fertilization. They are deelopment early, only a blastula or hollow ball stage. This will not be developing in a baby because the parents are not using some them.A can be donated to infertile couples if parents agree. There are legal issues here.

The difference between embryonic stem cells and cord blood, embryonic stem cells that are taken when the babies are at a very small. They kill children for stem cells. Now, the cord blood is when a baby is born, they take the cord blood, and no one dies.

Me know saving cord blood. But embroys kill (or babies) is totally unacceptable!

The blood has limited capacity thats what is believed vs. embryos.

Sigh, I can not help but comment when people use loaded words like "kill children" and "babies" when they talk about embryonic stem cells. I should like to correct this issue.

Embronic stem cells (ESC) are extracted from a fertilized embryo that is only a few days old. It is a hollow ball of cells containing a small cluster of cells inside. The wall of the ball, called the trophectoderm, forms the placenta and extraembryonic tissues. The cluster of cells inside the balloon is the "inner cell mass" and ESC. They are, by definition, not any particular tissue and are very similar or identical to each other. This embryo was not a heart man to beat, nervous of being conscious or feel pain, or a defined tissue of any kind (they do not have a body or office). They are physiologically incapable of speaking severe pain or suffering and have absolutely no conscience.

"But they have the potential to be a person" is an argument to defend the position that ESC research is unethical and destruction of life. Well, most of the embryos to be used for this type of research embryos that are donated by couples who are finished with their families and would be incinerated as biomedical waste. In the absence of injection of the embryo frozen in a pseudo-pregnant hormones (treated women), it has a zero potential to become a human being. So I would say that this is not the destruction of life.

Sorry, whew, that was a tangent and a half. The difference between the two types of stem cells is that the ESC, the extraction of the mass that produces each cell in the body ..... they can theoretically be forced to live in the culture dish to turn into any cell in the body without exception (a property known as pluripotency). There are other sources of stem cell found in adults, but usually they are very sophisticated potential, and can often make the cell types of the body (and perhaps some others. This is known as pluripotency) . For example, bone marrow contains stem cells, called hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) that make all your blood cells but they can make other types as well, including heart muscle. Although there is evidence that neurons can do too, it is unlikely that they can produce all kinds of differenct approximately 800 neurons that make up your central nervous system.

Chord blood stem cells are the same case. They are the stem cells that are produced from a source of mature age and are probably limited to a relatively small number of cell types they can produce, compared to ESC.
