Is this typical of a child to get a blood pressure-child check in place? The child is a normal weight - maybe a little inadequate, men, old 6rys. Just wondering if this is typical for children check-ups. A blood pressure of your child ever been taken? Under what circumstances? Thank you!
Yes usually 5 years they begin to have their blood pressure. Its part of the regular exercise. I worked in a doctors office for 2.5 years.
In the child's doctor I went, all children receive their blood pressure, sick or healthy, anyway.
My child is 4 years and each time we went to the doctor, it is his blood pressure, regardless of whether it was just a well-child assessment
I never knew any child or a baby not to have their blood pressure at a regular event.
Yes, this is typical. My son has been doing since he was five - and he is healthy. He is 8 now and is generally at its annual review.
My daughter goes to the pediatrician once a year for his "well baby" check. Each time they check blood pressure. They noted that he was raised a few times, but she was generally happy about something and they let him go. It has never been higher twice. Also, usually when she has any kind of visit, they check his bp. She had pneumonia a year ago .... they controlled in the ER and the follow-up visit in Peds. I want to emphasize, we are in the army when we go to a military hospital / Peds.
You really have nothing to fear. It's an event you have good depth if they do check. Be very happy.
Yes, my child is taken at each check-up - and when it is taken due to illness.
