However, in recent years by Stephenie Meyer Twilight saga with her, Charlaine Harris with True Blood, and others with their creations vampire stormed the bestseller charts. Davidson Maryjanice Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz, Vampire Beach by Alex Duval / night, by LJ Smith, Nikki and Michael Keri Arthur Nina Bangs Mackenzie Vampires, and almost human by Melanie Nowak. The top two series on this list have also been adapted for the screen, with movies very popular Twilight Saga and television series True Blood on HBO.
