What is your favorite Anne Rice book? Hey Lestat fans! I read [almost] all the books of Anne Rice (reading Blood Canticle right now) and I was wondering what were your favorites?
My favorite would be The Witching Hour ... I could not put it down!
So what do you think of books later, Anne Rice? I know that many people stop reading the Vampire Chronicles, after the first few books. I did not like the first Vampire Chronicles little better ... but I always enjoyed reading books later.
The night of witches. I lived in the street from the house in the book.
The Queen of the Damned.
Vampire Lestat
I loved "The Witching Hour". It is well written and quite mysterious to keep my attention throughout. I enjoyed the Vampire Chronicles, but did not read everything, Lestat gave me a headache with its self-importance, Louis with his guilt mounted immortal self, at least Claudia did not everything to live for too terribly long. I found the Mayfair witches' stories are easier to follow and follow, even to the "Blood Canticle". The movies were OK, Interview with a vampire is far superior to the Queen of the Damned, in my opinion, even with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise in the lead.
I read most of his books, and I think my favorite is the servant of the bones. I loved Interview with a Vampire and Lasher.
More interestingly, which book (s) of his own did not like you? Mine was violin.
making Sleeping Beauty, was very sexy, loved this book, I have not read his other books, but I loved the interview with the vampire movie
Cry to heaven.
I must say that The Vampire Lestat ... Queen of the Damned is a close second and the third servant of the bones. The Vampire Lestat was so great, tell us the story behind Lestat ... as you know Anne Rice did an exceptional job in developing its characters. I read the Vampire Chronicles by The Vampire Armand, but the replay several times and each time it is better than the previous.
Regarding movies, Interview was an excellent movie I enjoy, great cast too, but he ignored too. Really affected the role of Lestat in history, but it was much better than the Queen of the Damned. QOTD I like too, but they took way too many liberties and failed too. They should have separated the two in their own films and could include many more details that we love about books.
