I do not want to read the series of Anne Rice for not me.i interext not bother me pounds or couples. I'm mature enough not to start laughing like a girl's school or go "ew" whenever someone kisses or worse.i'm just a young person aged 14 years trying to research these topics in my books (and of course, for the pleasure of feeling a chill on the creature in the night [Yes, I believe in vampires]) Thanks in advance to all those who contribute. <3

I liked Tanya Huff "Blood" series that included the vampires and werewolves.

In addition, Bloodsucking Fiends by Christopher Moore. I love the snapping turtle.

If you have not read Anne Rice, how do you know she does not interest you?

You say you "believe in vampires." Does this mean that makes you believe in supernatural undead who walk the earth and need blood to sustain his immortality? Really? Do you also believe in elves, elves, dragons, fairies, angels and elves? If not, why not?

I have a friend whose daughter aged 14 years received her hooked on the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Here's what Amazon said: "As Shakespeare knew, love burns high when thwarted by obstacles. In Twilight, an exquisite fantasy by Stephenie Meyer, readers discover a pair of lovers who are supremely cursed. Bella adores beautiful Edward, and he returns her love. But Edward is having a hard time controlling the blood lust she arouses in him because - he's a vampire. At any moment, the intensity of their passion could drive him to kill her, and he agonizes over the danger. But, Bella would rather be dead than part from Edward, so she risks her life to stay near him, and the novel burns with the erotic tension of their dangerous and necessarily chaste relationship. "
